SCHOLARSHIPS

Proceeds generated from the Banks of the Wabash Classic will be donated to the Vermillion County 4-H organization, and will fund two scholarships to be awarded to: one Vermillion County Goat 4-H member and one Dairy Goat Youth from the state of Indiana.

As a club, we want to recognize young people for their outstanding achievement(s) in 4-H,

FFA work, leadership, and citizenship; coupled with an involvement in a goat related project

or activity and to help deserving young people continue an education beyond the high

school level.

We believe most successful goat producers possess the qualities of perseverance, integrity and positivity. The basis of this scholarship is how these qualities are used to become successful; for example, persevering in meticulously preparing your goat for show and learning the body parts, modeling positivity and integrity to other youth and lastly, seeking opportunities to help others.
